YOU’VE GOT QUESTIONS,
WE’VE GOT ANSWERS...
HOW MUCH DO HEARING AIDS COST?
Prices differ based primarily on the level and quality of technology used in the hearing aid. Entry-level models can cost a few hundred dollars, while the most advanced systems can cost up to a few thousand dollars. Earzlink offers the latest high-quality hearing instruments at prices up to 45% below MSRPs.
HOW DO I KNOW IF HEARING INSTRUMENTS CAN HELP ME?
After consulting with you to understand the concerns and difficulties you are having, a licensed clinician will perform a complete hearing evaluation. Once your hearing and communication capabilities have been determined, an appropriate hearing solution will be programmed matching your unique prescriptive needs. Then you can try them on and hear the difference. The whole process takes as little as an hour to complete.
CAN I GET INSTRUMENTS THAT NOBODY CAN SEE?
The size of hearing aids has dramatically decreased thanks to advancements in technology. We now have invisible-in-the-canal (llC's) and Mini Receiver-in-the-ear(RITE's) models that are virtually invisible.
HOW LONG IS A HEARING EVALUATION?
Please set aside 60 to 90 minutes for your office visit. This will allow for proper testing, explanation of our findings, and a demonstration of an appropriately fit hearing solution.
DOES EARZLINK OFFER PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Yes, we do. We have 0% Down plans, allowing you to pay for your hearing device in 6, 12, and 18-month installments. You can also utilize our extended payment plans available in 24, 36, 48, and 60-month options with payments starting at just $13 per month.
CAN I USE INSURANCE TO PAY FOR HEARING AIDS?
Earzlink recognizes most major insurance providers who offer hearing aid benefits. We offer discounts for certain government plans such as Medicare as well as many hearing aid discount plans for those without paid benefits.
HOW LONG HAS EARZLINK BEEN IN BUSINESS?
Our company was founded in 2008. Earzlink is a member of an extensive hearing care network with over 3000 member practices across the United States which ensures the availability of quality care wherever you may travel or visit.
WHAT IS THAT RINGING NOISE IN MY EARS?
You may have tinnitus, pronounced "tin-i-tus, or tin-eye-tus." This condition can be acute (short-term) or chronic (long-term). While there are no known cures at this time, you may experience relief with the use of properly fit hearing instruments. Furthermore, some have found a reduction of sound by avoiding commonly used products such as salt, caffeine, nicotine, and significant amounts of aspirin.
CAN EARWAX CAUSE HEARING LOSS?
Cerumen (earwax) can significantly reduce your hearing ability if it totally blocks your ear canal. However, this only happens in extreme cases. If you are experiencing a recent onset of hearing loss, we recommend you have an otoscopic inspection, which can be performed at any of our Earzlink locations.
